


On 4 May 2012, Thomasina Miers (winner of BBC MasterChef) and Lucas Hollweg (food writer for The Sunday Times Style Magazine) will launch their menu at Great Taste at The Cadogan in Knightsbridge. Great Taste award-winning products from around Britain will be featured in the menu, priced at £18 for one-course; £23 for two-courses; and £28 for three-courses.
Working with Head Chef Oliver Lesnik, Thomasina and Lucas have chosen gold-star ingredients such as: Wagyu beef dripping (Alternative Meats Ltd); Cured mackerel (Llandudno Smokery); and St George mushrooms (Greeba Farm Ltd) to create dishes that champion the best of British produce.
Signature dishes include Rabbit Ravioli and Loin; Pollack Baked in Salt Dough; and Tommi’s Chocolate and Chilli Cake.
What is Great Taste at The Cadogan?
The Cadogan and the Great Taste Awards have created a showcase restaurant highlighting award-winning British producers from across the UK. For nearly two decades, the Great Taste Awards have been regarded as the ultimate food industry accolade.
This year the awards have received more than 10,000 entries with the winners being announced in July. The highly regarded Great Taste Award stickers can be seen on produce in Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Waitrose, Planet Organic, Partridges, etc.
The second twist to this exciting new concept sees Great Taste at The Cadogan join forces with prominent foodies every 6-8 weeks, who will create a menu using Great Taste award-winning produce. Future partnerships include Fay Maschler and Charles Campion (The Evening Standard), plus Bill Knott (Financial Times). The showcase restaurant will run throughout 2012 and 2013.
Guests can enjoy exquisite food and service in the sublime surroundings of the high-ceilinged dining room that exudes elegance and sophistication.

The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday Noon – 2.30pm; and dinner Tuesday to Saturday 6pm – 10pm.
